OSK Design is proud to announce Jacob H. Thygesen, 41, as new CEO of OSK Design effective as of November 1, 2016.
Jacob has a background as Sales Director of Wärtsilä Ship Design and prior to that he was Managing Director of Wärtsilä Denmark. As CEO of OSK Design, Jacob H. Thygesen will be responsible for continuing the positive direction the company has taken since Anders Ørgård became majority shareholder 13 years ago. Anders Ørgård will continue to play a vital role in OSK, focusing primarily on the company's commercial activities.
Through the years, OSK Design has solidified its position as a provider of innovative solutions in ship design. This was most recently illustrated by means of the acquisition of interior design company Steen Friis Design underlining the company's position within design and supplementing the diversity of maritime design services already provided to the customer base.

Anders Ørgård's leadership and focus on customer relations has been instrumental in securing the constant growth of OSK Design. Bringing in a new CEO highlights the company's goal to continue the strong relationships with long-term clients according to Anders Ørgård, who states: "It has been the wish of both the shareholders and the Board to find the right person to continue the company's growth as a market leader in ship design. We are confident that Jacob H. Thygesen is that person. He brings more than ten years of leadership experience from the shipping industry in general and ship design in particular."
