Leading this effort is Jeppe Elgaard Jensen, Head of Energy and the driving force behind OSK Energy - our dedicated department focused on decarbonisation strategies and sustainable marine operations and solutions.
Jeppe brings extensive technical knowledge and a strategic perspective to the role. With a strong background as an electrician, commissioning and marine engineering, he joined OSK Design to lead our Energy department and support clients in navigating the industry’s evolving environmental demands.
Jeppe’s work centres on helping shipowners and operators identify the most effective path to decarbonisation based on their unique operational profiles. His areas of focus include (efficiency, alternative fuels, hybrid systems, battery energy storage, market development and the regulation and technical evolution) - all tailored to deliver measurable environmental and operational benefits.
His approach is collaborative and forward-thinking, combining technical insight with a deep understanding of regulatory developments and industry trends. By integrating sustainable energy strategies into vessel design and operations, Jeppe ensures that our clients are prepared for both current and future challenges.
Our growing Energy department marks a strategic expansion of our capabilities in sustainable maritime design. Under Jeppe’s leadership, it is becoming a key resource for clients seeking practical, future-ready solutions to complex energy and emissions challenges.
Outside of work, Jeppe is passionate about exercising, football, skiing, a good time with his friends but also enjoying a good time at home with his family and his dog!
