Nujen Acar - Designer & Architect at OSK Design
At OSK Design, we are dedicated to creating vessels that seamlessly merge engineering excellence with interiors that are functional, elegant, and environmentally sustainable. At the heart of this vision is Nujen Acar, our Interior Designer and Architect, whose creativity and expertise are instrumental in bringing our projects to life.
Nujen holds degrees in architecture (BA) from Istanbul Bilgi University and spatial design (Master) from the Royal Danish Academy. This strong academic background has sharpened her ability to tackle the unique challenges of interior marine design. Her approach combines practicality with aesthetics, delivering interiors that are both efficient and visually stunning.
Her design ethos centres on tailoring each project to the specific needs of passengers, crew, and operational requirements. Nujen’s expertise encompasses interior design, material selection, bespoke solutions, and close collaboration with clients to achieve cohesive, functional, and inspiring designs.
A passionate advocate for sustainability, Nujen prioritises the use of eco-friendly materials that are not only durable but also minimise environmental impact. Her creative process draws on a variety of inspirations, from nature and art to fleeting moments in films or the streets. This eclectic outlook ensures her designs are always people-centred, visually striking, and environmentally conscious.
At OSK Design, Nujen has been a driving force behind several high-profile projects, including the P&O interiors and Kiwirail signage, which remain some of her proudest accomplishments.
When she is not designing elegant interiors for OSK, Nujen enjoys jewellery design, painting, ballet, swimming, and watching arthouse films.
Through her dedication and innovative perspective, Nujen Acar plays a vital role in enhancing OSK Design’s reputation for excellence in marine interiors.
