Back in May 2017, OSK-ShipTech A/S signed the contract with Ferry Company Læsø who is on the lookout for a new ferry sailing the route to and from Frederikshaven in Denmark.
The role of OSK-ShipTech
OSK-ShipTech will be in charge of exterior and interior design, technical solutions, specifications, and tendering. OSK-ShipTech will also be in charge of the negotiating procedure leading up to contracting. After signing of newbuilding contract, OSK-ShipTech will be advisors and consultants for the owners during drawing approval and building supervision up until the new ferry is delivered to Ferry Company Læsø.

Domestic ferry with open ro-ro car deck servicing the route between Læsø and Frederikshavn (DK).
Approximate main dimensions: Length overall 111.2 m and breadth 18.8 m.
Approximate car capacity: 188 passenger car units on main deck and hoistable decks.
